Metropolitan trains
Special race trains will leave Flinders Street platform 8, 9 and 10 from 8.39am until 3pm, departing approximately every five to ten minutes.
These trains will stop at Southern Cross on platform 14, North Melbourne on platform 6 and will then run express to the Flemington Racecourse.
Race trains will depart Flemington Racecourse at frequent intervals from 2pm until 8.30pm. These trains will stop at North Melbourne, Southern Cross and Flinders Street.
